Aurora Borealis

Another bucket list item was to experience the Aurora Borealis (the Northern Lights) and witness the magic of the universe firsthand. It felt surreal to watch what seemed like alien particles dancing across the sky as they interacted with our Earth's magnetic field, creating a breathtaking display in the atmosphere. Out of my 4-night visit to Fairbanks, Alaska, in the Spring season, I could witness the Northern Lights for at least 2 nights. To make it even more surreal, the Northern Lights made a rare appearance this time over Northwest Arkansas in May 2024.
